Is your silver jewellery looking a bit dull and tarnished? Fear not! I've found a really easy way to clean your sterling silver jewellery with things you'll have in the kitchen cupboards.

You'll need...
1 tbsp washing up liquid
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp baking soda
1 cup hot water (just off the boil)
(Make sure the silver has the 925 mark tagged or engraved to show it's real sterling silver, I haven't tried this method to clean anything other than sterling so do so at your own risk!)
Remove any pendants/crystals from necklace chains. Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and mix. Plop in your silver and leave it to sit for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, rinse the jewellery under the tap (careful not to drop, I do it over the washing up bowl, or make sure the plug is in) and give it a gentle polish with some kitchen roll or a soft dry cloth and voila!
Beautiful clean sparkly silver jewellery!
